Our mission is to provide a unique, safe and fun experience for beginner students who desire to learn about horse handling and riding. While we are continuously growing and expanding our program, we are excited to currently offer our Little Legs, Big Start Horse Lesson program for children ages 3-7*.

We pair your Little Leg riders with our Little Leg pony, Sugarfoot, to give them a BIG start in learning all about horse handling and riding!

Here at the Farmhouse, our lessons follow these core values:

  • Safety first!
  • Building confidence and trust through horse behavior knowledge
  • Improving core balance and coordination skills
  • Building meaningful relationships with horses and each other
  • Sharing laughs, high fives, and FUN!

Students will first learn basic horse grooming, handling and confidence on the ground before transitioning into the saddle. We will work at each student’s individual learning pace while incorporating engaging activities and games to keep students interested and having fun!

Note: Only private lessons are available at this time.

1-hour, private pony/horse lessons available for ages 6 and older.
30-minute, private pony lessons available for 3 to 5 years.
